Private transfer

There are different ways to reach Belum Temenggor forest reserve. If you can’t come with your own car or can’t use one of the public bus connections, we got you covered with private transportation services. It has several destinations in Malaysia.

If your incoming or return destination is Penang or George Town, you can book your one-way transfer here. You can also book twice if you need a return trip.

The journey lasts approximately three (3) hours per way (times may vary according to weather or traffic conditions). If you are going to Penang, you can choose to drop off at your hotel or apartment/home, at the city international airport or pier (if you’re on a cruise or need to take a ferry to mainland or Langkawi, for instance). But, if you are going to Belum, drop off will be on Pulau Banding (jetty or Belum Rainforest Resort lobby).

We normally employ Malaysia-made vehicles (e.g. Proton), Japanese-made minivans (e.g. Toyota) for transfer services. However, if your group is particularly large, we will use a bus or large coach. It has air conditioning and full comforts but no on-board toilets.

We recommend to book your transfer arrangements early in advance.

We listed a few departure times but hours are flexible and we can adjust according to your needs. However, we do recommend that you leave Belum before dusk (18.00) or leave Penang not later than early afternoon. That is because roads around Gerik area has poor lighting and there could be animals or elephants at evening time.
